Can it be installed while booted in 64 bit and will it work properly?

For the benefit of other readers, that's http://openforum.sophos.com/t5/Sophos-Anti-Virus-for-Mac-Home/Unable-to-complete-login-after-reboot/td-p/262 and whilst it's a hunch, we shouldn't treat it as definitely a problem with FileVault.

http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/free-mac-anti-virus/tech-specs.html mentions nothing about 32- or 64-bit so I believe the answer should be yes.
