I believe that malicious code exists for the Mac OS and after watching the videos of "malware caught on camera" I'm still skeptical as to if this program is genuine. I've seen hackers go through any means necessary to steal/infect people's computers. And this could all just be one big elaborate scam. I myself downloaded the free AV and scan showed I had two infected music files that I myself had put on the computer straight from the CD bought in the music store. Unless something can go in and randomly infect things I fail to see the accuracy or authenticity of any of this. You might say I'm over paranoid or even ridiculous, but I know that hackers will do anything to steal account info, e-mails, ect. So once again, how do I know I'm installing something actually from Sophos and not just one big keylogger/virus/scam? Forgive my candor, but there are many precious things on my computer and I can't afford to lose them.
