No Right-Click Scanning in Free Mac OS version

Just downloaded and installed the free MAC OS version and there does not appear to be right-click scanning capability, am I missing something?

  • The Right-Click Scan is available in the Home Edtion. However it only becomes available after the user either reboots or Logs Off then Logs On again.

    Hope That Helps!

  • I'm still not getting right-click scanning. There's no option to turn this on or off? Please let me know.

The version I see when I click on about Sophos Anti-Virus is: Is this the Home Addition? I download it for free and has been working for about a year?

  • In the Finder, control/right clicking should bring up a contextual menu with "Scan Now with Sophos Anti-Virus" at the bottom.  This is enabled via
"Sophos Anti-Virus.plugin" being installed at "/Library/Contextual Menu Items".  There is no option to enable/disable it.
