Removing funmoods toolbar

Does Sophos have a free utility to remove the Funmoods malware from a computer? I used Malwarebytes and it got rid of a majority of the infection on a Windows 7 laptop but when I open IE8 it still opens up to a FunMoods search engine. I removed the Amazon.com and the Babylon search engine options but somehow the Funmood search engine hijacks when opening each tab. The malware most likely was installed from funmoods.com.

Have you tried Sophos Virus Removal Tool ?

Let me know if it works and if not please send us a sample,
Keep in mind that in some instances this would be a controlled application or an unwanted application so we won’’’’t treat it like a virus.

I use AVG as my protection -- it gives me the option of using AVG as its search start page -- opting for this gets rid of funmoods--im sure other "anti virus " apps will do the same -- hope that this helps
