Two problems with Home Edition 9.0.7 and 10.9.1

Seen on two machines (Macbook Pro, iMac)

- Scan this Mac gets often stuck on "Calculating..." (repeatable)

- On the Macbook it found three "threats" ( Windows virus files),but Cleaning from quarantine manager never completes. Gets stuck on "Cleanup in Progress"

I am new to Sophos and I have the same issue. It is stuck on "Calculating" What is the fix?

For the 'Calculating' part of the scan try:

Rebooting the Mac

Disconnecting external drives (to see if that is causing the delay).

Try scanning the whole volume if running a custom scan.

If running a custom scan on just a folder try scanning the whole volume (i.e., '/').
