Trojans not being deleted ("cleanup failed")

My Macbook Pro is running Office for Mac 2011 (which is running O S X 10.8.5).  I converted my (10GB) Outlook mail files (using OLM Converter) in order to migrate to Apple Mail.  I ran Sophos over my computer today and 2 trojan named files (see below) came up as threats.  When I followed the Cleanup procedure to remove them they simply came back "Cleanup failed".  There is no option listed in the manual for removing the files. I have just been notified that another trojan threat has appeared. At least 1 of the trojans appears to be in the .olm Outlook converted mail file.

I realise that the trojans are probably not a threat to my Mac operating system or files but am concerned about my Outlook files.  Is there any way to remove the trojans below?

Troj%2FInvo-Zip%20

Troj%2FAgent-AEYI%20

Troj%2FZBot-CZQ

I am hoping someone has had and solved this problem!

  • I'd suggest the first step is to track down exactly where all of the items that are being detected are located - paths and file names.

Then you can either find the actual emails (in your mail app) and delete from there.  The following video is worth a watch/listen.  Let me know if it helps or not.
