Status won't show in menu bar.

Hi all,

I installed Sophos as per my universtiy's recommendation and it was working fine.

I went to restart my computer and Sophos is on my doc and it's on, but the status won't show in the menu bar.

I clicked "Show Status in menu bar" but nothing is happening.

Please help?

    I have the same problem here. I installed the Sophos Anti-Virtus for Mac Home Edition for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. The status does not show. I checked all the settings and even tried clicking on the default settings button, but the status still won't show. I opened my Activity Monitor and it showed that Sophos Anti-Virus is indeed working. I have a feeling that this might be some sort of bug.
