I'm a MAC user and I need help PLEASE....!

I wish to remove Sophos Anti-Virus version 7.3.9

I read thru the forum and understand the instruction but my problems are as follows.

The Sohpos folder /Applications Remove folder is not their.........!

When I go to my APPLICATIONS folder I can see the "Sophos Anti-Virus.app" but there is no "Removal.app"

Q; Can someone please send me the original "Removal .app" or the original "Sophos Anti-Virus version 7.3.9" with the removal app embeded in this program?

What to do

  1. Find the folder /Applications and double-click Sophos Remove.
  2. In the confirmation dialog, click Remove Sophos Anti-Virus .
  3. In the user account dialog, type an administrator name and password. Click OK.

Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition is now removed from your Mac.

    Hi,

    It may be that you are running the Enterprise version rather than the free version, but in either case there should be the following package:

    /Library/Sophos Anti-Virus/Remove Sophos Anti-Virus.pkg

    Note that it is in the system Library in the root.  It looks as if it is an installer but will in fact un-install Sophos for you.

    You will need to enter the administrator's username and password.
