Doubt on upgrading for the newer version

Hello,

I have been using Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition for about a month and I have been notified today there is a newer version available, 7.3.9
My doubt is:  should I have to uninstall previous version before installing the new one?  Or it is just download version 7.3.9 and install it over the previous one?

I will do appreciate your reply!

    Hello Victor Hugo,

    if you did not disable AutoUpdate this will take care of upgrading to the newer version. The updated version might not be available for automatic updating to all everywhere at the same time - this is to distribute the load on the updating network over a short period. Note that the delay does not affect protection - detection data is updated continually and for all supported versions.
