Threat detected

I just completed a complete scan of all documents and files. After the scan was completed, the following message came up: "One threat detected." Does that mean the threat was cleaned out, no longer a problem? Or was there something else I was supposed to do?

Hello,
Much of the malware (i.e. viruses, trojans, worms, etc.) that infects your Mac can be automatically removed by Sophos Anti-Virus, however, some of it must be removed manually.

I have the same issue - one threat detected - on my second scan, however it's not in the quarantine manager. What step should I do next? The article referenced doesn't address this. Thanks.

Answering myself on this one. I ran another scan and the threat didn't show up. I guess SAV took care of it, but I have no idea how. Won't think about it now, I just am one of those people who like the "whys" of something. Now trying to get it together to call Apple re other issues. I do love my mac, but this latest fiasco re flashback (so glad to be one of the 600,000+) among other issues is getting a bit trying. Well, whatever happened to the threat it seems to be gone, so thanks for that.
