it uses windows note pad & why is there a UID/PSW in this tab

Why does windows load up ( with parrells) when I select to view the log file? Shouldn't it use text edit? It loaded windows note pad. Also, why is there a uid/psw in the auto update tab & its grayed out? I didnt put it in there. One more thing, I am using a Imac24, this loads in my dock, but I dont think it actually loaded up. .How can I be sure?

    1) You must have .log files set to load with Windows notepad; get info on a .log file in the finder and select the application you want to be the default.  Then click the Change All... button.

    2) Sophos products all require a UID and password to securely access updates from our servers.  Since this is a free product with no registration, we automatically provide you with a UID and password so you can correctly access the data.  On the commercial versions, this is not grayed out.

    3) If Sophos Antivirus is properly installed, you'll see a black shield in your menu bar, near your Sound Volume and Wifi icons.  If you do not see this, it may still be loaded, but you will need to take more advanced steps to check.  Also, if you turn off On-Access scanning, it is no longer "loaded" as you will only be able to perform manual scans from the application itself.
