Free network scan tool "Domain"

Question

I'm trying to install and run the tool but after putting username and password (From email) there is a "Domain" field. What do I put in there? Thanks Paul :25971

Hello Paul,

if you have selected AD as detection method you are asked for credentials twice: The first screen (the one with the optional proxy settings) is where you enter the account details from the email. It then starts downloading the latest threat data. After it has finished you get to the screen where it asks for the details of an account that has administrator access to the computers you want to scan. There you have to enter the details of a domain account (username and password for your domain) with sufficient rights to access your computers.

Hello Paul, as domain doesn't ring a bell with you, you likely don't have one but a workgroup environment (and you shouldn't select Active Directory when trying to use this tool). Christian :44719
