Possible to configure to scan automatically?

Hello:

I am new to Mac and Sophos.  Is it possible to set up Sophos to scan automatically at a specific time each day?  Thank you.

    Well, then, it would appear my "problem" is solved.  Many thanks for taking the time to explain this to me.

    Does Sophos also protect against attempts to access the Mac?  In Windows, I used to get occasional notification that Norton had blocked such an attempt.
