Possible to configure to scan automatically?

Hello:

I am new to Mac and Sophos.  Is it possible to set up Sophos to scan automatically at a specific time each day?  Thank you.

    Hello Suzanne,

    On-Access means that a file is scanned the moment it is - to use a non-technical term - "about to be used". This means you don't have to remember to scan your Mac at regular intervals or to scan an attachment or a download before opening it.
