Possible to configure to scan automatically?

Hello:

I am new to Mac and Sophos.  Is it possible to set up Sophos to scan automatically at a specific time each day?  Thank you.

    Thank you, Andrew.  I am glad to know that I probably don't need to do this, though I'm so new to this that I don't even know what "on access" means.  And I'm so new to Mac that I don't even know what Apple scripts are or how to write them.

    At some point, I'll do some tutorials and learn, though.
