SAVCLI32 - Do not follow links

RE:  Sophos Anti-Virus for Win32 Command-Line Interface (SAV32CLI)

Two questions

1.  At present I see, v4.98 for February 2014 [1/29/14].  Is there a newer Command Line Scanner ?

2.  How can you tell the client to NOT follow links.  It seems that the scanner hits the User Profile links and recusively follows the links instad of just scanning the LNK file. It does so scanning the same files over and over again and its is extremely time consuming and frustrating.  What is the switch parameter to tell SAV32CLI.EXE to NOT follow links ?

    Hello David,

    as I've mentioned in one of the other threads, I've only observed an "infinite" loop on mapped drives, never on a local filesystem - perhaps due to some limit for local redirects. While the scanner "spinned" in the \Users\' subfolders this never took an 'excessively unreasonable' amount of time.
