I loaded Sophos VRT and the scan found MAL-BadsrcA. It will not clean. I tried SmaRT and that did not work so I submitted a request for assistance from Sophos via the Sophos web support page. Sophos support responded that they needed a scan and I sent one, however when they realized I was a free user, they asked that I use this forum as my support resource.
I still have the scan file if needed as it is saved on my system in ZIP file. I have no indication if my scan went anywhere or not after I sent it to Sophos support. Any thoughts on how to proceed? I've done several searches both on the Sophos pages and via Google/Metacrawler and there seems to be very little info on this bug. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
