Virus Removal

The Sophos quarantine manager says to "clean up manually" the 14 viruses it found. How would I do that? Is my computer secure as long as the malware is in quarantine?

    please note: Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition has a dedicated forum at SophosFreeTalk and you'll find information on manual cleanup there.

    To answer your second question - if these threats have been found by Scan Local Drives they are probably not "for" the Mac (clicking on the name in the Threat column takes you to the analysis/description). Anyway - as long as you don't turn off on-access scanning you are protected.
