Sophos 8.0.1c - cannot enable on-access scan

I can't enable the on-access scan, it is completely greyed out.  Even when I select the unlock button it remains greyed out.  I've tried restarting, reinstalling, running all scans but there is no way to enable this.  I am the administrator on my account.

Any one else having this issue?

    So I have to agree, it would be great to get some real instructions for repairing the issue.  I like the product (especially for the price).  As a security researcher, I need to know when the protection is on and when it is off.  I'm having the same issue with 8.0.6C... so whatever the problem, the past few updates have not corrected it.
