Sophos 8.0.1c - cannot enable on-access scan

I can't enable the on-access scan, it is completely greyed out.  Even when I select the unlock button it remains greyed out.  I've tried restarting, reinstalling, running all scans but there is no way to enable this.  I am the administrator on my account.

Any one else having this issue?

    Update to my 4/18 message.  After reading more about Sophos 8.0.1c and Lion, I downloaded Sophos 7.3.  The install and local disk scan went well and it appears I am running Sophos 7.3 successfully.  I hope it is close to being as robust as version 8 but I feel 7.3 is better than no protection; until the fix for version 8.0.1c is released.  It has been running about 4 hours, so far so good.
