I have a Macbook Air (Mac OS X Lion) running Sophos AntiVirus for Mac Free Edition that freezes several times a day (usually when Time Machine backup starts). I logged a case with Apple and they troubleshooted it down to Sophos.
Apple recommended uninstallation of Sophos and since I uninstalled the product I've not experienced a single system freeze.
Is anyone else having this problem and is Sophos aware of it?
I don't believe I'm able to log a case with Sophos as I'm not paying for the product, so any help/comments appreciated.
