Can you uninstall the Sophos Windows Shortcut Exploit fix?

Before I go ahead and install this, answer me this:  Once everyone else gets on board (including Microsoft), can this fix be uninstalled?

    Good question. I would even like to know more.

    What will happen when Microsoft releases a patch for this vulnerability?

    Does the Sophos tool need to be uninstalled before the (upcoming) MS patch can be installed?

    Will the Sophos tool interfere with the MS patch?

    Is the Sophos patch suitable to be rolled out in a company network?

    (and again, can it be easily removed lateron?)
