Include option on schedule tasks

Hi

I want to know if I have this config on schedule tasks:

scanHardDrives=yes

And I dont specify an inlcude path. ¿Will it scann all the device?

Hello Mediter Juridico,

you didn't say which product/platform you are referring to. scanHardDrives normally applies to Linux but there you don't call it scheduled task.

Anyway, this option is an implicit include.

Hi

I am using Sophos on Linux. Then If I don't specify any include it's the same that I specify include /. Is that true?

For other way, this option:

# Specify whether to scan inside archives.

scanArchives=1

Does it means compressed files?

Hi Mediter Juridico

Archive types include .tar, .tar.gz, .zip and etc. It depends on the operating system which archive files system it supports.
