 I am just wondering , once you connect to your hone network through vpn is it possible to use microsofts remote desktop to connect to computers on your home network

 Yes it is possible to remote into the desktop computers through a VPN connection, but make sure the desktop allows the connection as Microsoft has the firewall which may interrupt the connection if it not from the same network.
