Safe guard 8 - USB auto encryption windows 10

Yes this is possible, even though Windows 10 uses Bitlocker it uses that for the Full Disk Encryption, not File Encryption, which is the method to use when encrypting files on a USB stick on any version of Windows. Aslong as you have File Encryption and the same policies applied on your Windows 10 machine then you shouldn't see any difference.

so it has to be a File encryption policy ? rather then a Volume encryption policy.

BitLocker doesn't really do file encryption - just volume/drive. It is possible to mount virtual drives and encrypt those but it's a bit messy and not intuitive.

So yes, as Toby said. If you wish to encrypt files you'd have a SafeGuard file encryption policy and it would encrypt using Sophos encryption, but volumes/drives would be BitLocker (but managed by Sophos SafeGuard policy) If that makes sense?

Hi yes that makes sense but will you be able to transfer file from windows 7 to 10 and visa versa ?
