The SGN Client only supports VMware Workstation and Player as virtualization platform. All other platforms like VMware ESX/ESXi Server, Microsoft Virtual PC or Microsoft Hyper-V are not supported.
We are actually still testing it out in house...running into a lot of problems getting it working properly with tokens unfortunately but I was also looking inot protecting our file servers
Got it. May I ask what version of Windows server are you trying to host as the Hyper V virtual operating System. The reason I asked is because, If you want to use Windows Server 2012 with Hyper-V as a host Operating System and run i.e. Windows Server 2008 R2 as a virtual machine - that has not been explicitly tested by QA but shouldn't be a problem at all. Some of our techs run test/lab environments with this configuration.
