installation old config file

Hello guys,

I have 2 little questions.

1. It is possible to install a Safeguard Enterprise 6 configuration file on a Safeguard Enterprise 5.6 Client?

2. It is possible to identify a client with an old config installed?

    Hi MichaelZ,

    SafeGuard Enterprise Client Configuration packages from version 6 can only be installed to SafeGuard Clients running version 6. This is new compared to old versions.

    Keep in mind that if you have clients installed with 5.x and upgrade them to version 6, there is no need to install/update a new client configuration package, if you dont modify any ip routes to your servers or re-install your servers completely.
