Windows 7 ?

Hello, I had a look around a few weeks ago and there was a knowledge base article about installing safeguard on windows 7 , Ive had a look round and cant seem to find it anymore. 

Does anyone have any info about installing it on widows 7??

    Hello DJ, I install SGN 5.40 managed clients for 6 weeks in my company.

    The installation of the SGN Client software, the Patch (to fix the SGNMaster.exe) and the Client config-package looks good.

    But of the end of every install-package, i get a message that the installation is early failed.

    After a reboot the installation was already done and it works great.

    In the SGN MC, Windows 7 clients are marked as an unknown OS.

    The Key and Certificat Managment works (use currently SGN MC and DE).

    We has only Lenovo hardware, it appears to me that all built in fingerprint reader are compatible with SGN 5.40.

    But yet be careful not all driver versions are done.

    For AuthenTec reader take the newest version (it works on the most Lenovo notebooks) and UPEK her you need a later version (the version is written in the sophos client.pdf document)

    I'd also like to point out that I have a customer already running Windows 7 32-bit on about 400 SGN DE encrypted Lenovo laptops. When I last pinged him he said that everything is going smoothly.

    Feel free to do your testing now and go production when you are ready.

    the SGNCP module is planned for SGN 5.60, roughly beginning of 2011.
