AD group membership not updated in SGN Mgmt Console

Help!  Over the last month or so the group membership info in the SGN console (v5.35) has stopped updating.  We synchronize our OU structure with AD.  New AD groups are being added but group membership is not getting updated.  We have confirmed that the users/workstations in the groups are currently in the console - they were synchronized in the past.  We have also confirmed that the AD ID used for synchronization is still active.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • No - missing users and PCs were already in the console.  To save time for Synch, I would just select the OU structure that pertained to the necessary groups, users and workstations.  For example, the Exchange OU and Server OUs were not necessary.  I have been selecting the same limited OU structures for the past year - no problems.

What resolved this issue was selecting the whole OU - Exchange, Servers, Handhelds, groups, users, workstation, etc - the whole thing.  Yes, it took a long time to complete.   I don't know why it made a difference, but it did.  The only thing that would of changed on the server that runs the SGN Mgmt console would of been some Microsoft OS patches.  So, speculating their may be a possible compatibility issue with 5.35 and a Microsoft patch.
