Problem on POA showing "Workstation is locked! Perform Challenge/Response to unlock"

POA showing "Workstation is locked! Perform Challenge/Response to unlock" and I have tried to perform C/R.

After C/R done and I tried login to Windows, the system will automatically shutdown.

I cannot login and see my files. What can I do?

    Hi SLIMIT,

    from your description it sounds like an application on your machine is trying to tamper with the SafeGuard Local Cache (for details, please see http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/111348.aspx) and the machine is therefore automatically shut down by the SafeGuar Local Cache protection.

    The POA is then eventually locked because the SafeGuard Enterprise General Settings Policy “Logon recovery – Activate logon recovery after Windows Local Cache corruption” is configured to “YES”.

    To access your Data, perform a Challenge/Response against the locked POA and start windows in safemode. The Service monitoring / protecting the SafeGuard Local Cache is not started in safe mode and the machine won’’’’t be shutdown automatically.
