Error=0x20

Hello,

I have upgraded my safeguard product 6.00 to the last 7. All the installations are OK (server, database, client...). No error.

But when I reboot my notebook for the first time, I have the message :

Safeguard is loading OS now!

error=0x20

I try repair bcd or shift F6 issues but nothing work.

Could you have an idea?

Hi Julien,

What's the make / model of the machine? Is it an HP by any chance?
Have you been through the following guide: www.sophos.com/.../111919.aspx
Is the machine encrypted?
Have you updated the BIOS and checked things like FastBoot / RapidBoot are all disabled still?

Hi Toby,
The notebook is a Toshiba Z930.
Yes I have tried the guide. The bios is up to date.
the machine was encrypted with 6.00 and the problem arrived when I upgrade to 7.

Hi Julien,

Have a look at the hotkeys and try those: www.sophos.com/.../107781.aspx
If they don't work I would suggest re-imaging the laptop, reinstalling SafeGuard 7.0 then restoring your files.
