Safeguard Installation message post windows logon

Dear All,

This is my first post in this forum. I have recently installed SG easy client  4.6 on hp 8440 laptop with windows xp sp2. The installation completed fine, but now after the preboot authentication when i logon to windows using my domain account / local system account i get a safeguard installation message looking for the source files!!!

even if i provide the installtion path it does nothing but just hangs the system!!! any ideas or pointer as to why this is happening?

    Hi Harshwardhan,

    welcome to the forum.

    With regards to your description I can tell you that this could have different root causes. Pleae be so kind and open a new support ticket for this. When doing so please include a msinfo32 report saved as NFO file and a copy of the local event log (system and application saved as evt file) to your call.

    Beforehand you can check if your AV software or the firewall is blocking source files from our application which could then cause the installer to start.
