Safeguard Enterprise, Integrating with existing SAV Install

We currently have an existing Ant-Virus installation in place with a working console and want to add the Enterprise encryption conponent. I initially assumed this would be  a matter of a simple reconfiguration from programs and features but as I'm eyeballing the Install guide it appears as though there maybe more to it? Can anyone offer up potential "gotcha's" are heads up at what's involved with this process?

    please refer to the following chapters of the Sophos Disk Encryption License Migration Guide for details on how to add encryption to your existing console installation: 

    Chapter 2 "Add encryption to an existing Sophos security solution "

    • 2.1 Upgrade Sophos Enterprise Console
    • 2.2 Add encryption to Sophos Enterprise Console

    Thanks for the reply chris. Now this modification that I'm doing is this mainly to manage bitlocker? I started the installer modification but I stopped before clicking modify as I was never prompted for a username pass for our SafeGuard Enterprise Encryption License so I began to wonder if this was something different.

    I went ahead and modified the installation, I have encryption options now under policy but I'm still really confused since I didn't put in our encryption license info anywhere. Plus I was poking around under software subscriptions and I see that Encrpytion Products is not checked. :smileyfrustrated:
