Alladin e-token support on safeguard version 6

Hi,

Has anybody manged to get safeguard version 6 to work in standalone mode with support for e-token.

We are upgrading from verison 4.4 to 6. This works fine in the old version but not in version 6.

On boot the POA screen asks for username/password but does not recognise the token when it is plugged in. In the policy I allow both username and token methods for authentication.

If I use the un/pw to pass the poa I get to the safeguard gina where it says re-insert token or press ctl-alt-delete to log in.

Plugging/Unplugging the token has no affect.

Am i missing something obvoius? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Jon

  • As you have to get licensed to this in SG 6 this is more of an expense.

And support told me that I still needed to have an account on the machine that was setup for this.

Cheaper and easier to just use POA accounts. They will get uodated when ever the machine syncs with the server.
