Laptops randomly locking and needing Challenge Response

We have many employees ringing up with their workstations locked. Some havent even entered their passwords in, let alone incorrectly.

They seem to boot up their machines and it says the work station is locked.

Is there anything that causes a workstation to lock without a wrong password being entered?

    We had a simmilar issue with Samsung laptops which had "Express Cache" enabled. You will likely find any program or service that caches data from a spinning HDD to an SSD which cause problems with encryption products.

    You can disable Express Cache by uninstalling it from Add Remove programs.
