Clarification on supported Fingerprint software version

The Sophos website says the following Lenovo fingerprint software is supported: http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/111626.html

However, the Lenovo site suggests differently: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-73583 *

• Taken from the ‘‘‘‘System Requirements section’’’’: “Note: If using SafeGuard Enterprise (SGN) 5.5 and Windows 7 you should use UPEK FPR SW 5.8.5.6580 instead of 5.9.3.”

So is it 5.8.5.6014 or 5.8.5.6580 or indeed both?

I’’’’m obviously inclined to believe Sophos, but other customers might be downloading unsupported software! – perhaps someone needs to talk to Lenovo as there is already enough confusion with the Fingerprint software!

If Lenovo is correct, could someone update the Sophos KB please.
