Recover Data from Sophos Safeguard Easy Laptop

Hi,

we had encrypted laptop having C: and D: drive each.

unfortunately the user had an issue while on business tour and he got formatted the laptop C: drive without de crypting the data on d drive.

Now the O/S is working but cant able to read D: drive

We dont have any recovery file for the laptop and badly need the data.

We have answer file only.

Pls suggest

Hi Haris,
could you clarify what "answer file" is and which Sophos SafeGuard Easy version (4.x or 5.x / 6.x) you use?
If it is the backup xml file from the SafeGuard 5.6/6.x Client, please use the following KBA to gain access to the encrypted partition again: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/108805.aspx
