Hi CIGAR,

My guess is that you are evaluating SGN with version 5.60.0? If so, according to the release notes, the DEFECT you are experiencing was fixed in the very latest version 5.60.1...

* Partial release notes:

Resolved Issues (from 5.60.0 to 5.60.1)

-    DEF72406 Sporadically, the installation failed with error 5001, "Not enough continuous space found…", on machines where enough space was available

I believe the latest version to date is 5.60.1.7.

If you can I would suggest downloading the latest version and starting your evaluation again.

NOTE It is very advisable to read the known errors. (especially wih the SGN products!) ;)

P.S. If you plan to use Configuration Protection with SGN then be aware that since the release notes we have discovered two further defects:

1. Contrary to what this Sophos KB article says (http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/113201.html) some USB 3 ports do not work with SGN, either in POA or Windows.Some. Sophos have advised me that they will change this knowledgebase to reflect this, but believe me - they either never do it, or take a VERY long time to update the articles!

2. Hybrid / Bridging control - if you wish to use it in the latest version of Configuration Protection then I suggest you talk to Sophos support regarding the new DEFECT 70425. - Which according to Sophos will not be resolved until version 6 of SGN.
