Hello,
I have following problem, but firstly I describe my whole history.
I had laptop with internal drive with 2 partitions (system win XP and data) encrypted with SGN 5.40.
Then I replaced it with new. New one was divided again into 2 partitions and encrypted with SGN 5.50 (on vista x64), and old one was configured as external usb drive. I have assigned old key in MC to my user so I was able to use this drive.
But I wanted to decrypt first partition of external drive to use is as exchange partition with someone who doesn't SGN installed.
I configured whole polices need to decrypt this partition, but my SGN refused to decrypt it with some generic encryption error.
Support suggested me to format this partition :/ (pity...)
I leaved this problem for some time, but last time one though come to my mind, that this can be SGN version incompatibility problem. So I configured virtual windows XP machine with SGN 5.40 installed, configured necessary polices, connected old external drive as virtual usb drive, and my partition started to decrypt.
And here started my problem:
During decryption my drive was unintentionally disconnected for virtual machine. When I connected it back to virtual machine, first partition continued to decrypt, by second was stated as decrypted and requiring format. And each system now ask for format for this partition.
It seems that this partition lost her encryption status, but it is still encrypted. I don't know how to decrypt it now.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards.
