Save key backup to file share

I've gotten safegaurd easy 5.5 installed and everything is working fine.  However I keep having a message pop up asking for credentials to connect to a network share to save a key.  Problem is, during the policy editor setup on my pc, the network share could not be created, so the share does not exist at this time.  Is there a way to stop this message from appearing, or possibly to get the network share created properly?  TIA

  • Hi haproot,

thank you very much for posting and welcome to the forum.

You can try to create a manual backup using sgmcmdintn which is a command line tool. The tool is installed by default and located in system32.

    Perform these steps:

    Open an administrative command prompt

    run "sgmcmdintn.exe -keybackup [foldername]"

After that the message should disappear. Alternatively you can create a new client configuration package in the Policy Editor this time either not pointing to a network share at all or pointing to a new share which you created manually beforehand.

    Regards
