Encrypting a multi-partitioned Hard drive

Hello,

I need assistance on partitioning a multi-partitioned HD, C: and D:. Can some one guide me through the process of doing that.

I have always installed the application successfully on a one partition with no problems. Please help.

  • Hi HY-EpicLP

welcome to the forum and thank you for posting.

Well I assume that you want to encrypt the drive just as when using a single partition machine. There are multiple ways to do that but they are all configured at the same spot.

Just open the Management Center and create a new Device Protection Policy. Now you have multiple options > you can either create an additional policy for other volumes or you specify a dedicated drive letter and you could also set Mass Storage devices as a target,. This depends on your needs and requirements.

At the end once the policy is ready just assign it to the Client and rest will be just as having a single partition system.

Is this what you are looking for?

    Regards

    Dan
