We've been getting an issue for 1 user in our organisation where at POA if he has become user of a Laptop it will only "AutoLogon" and will not prompt for credentials. (We do use tokens.. but to be honest if we cant get Domain creds to work it's naturally not going to get the Token to work).
Other users on a Laptop he uses are fine, and works as normal. Have rebuilt his Laptop. Have had him try other machines so it appears like the issue is "Certificate/User object" side of things.
Have deleted the user object in SG just in case its a low level issue with his particular object. But even on a new object it still occurs.
The errors reported by SafeGuard have not been much help, have not been able to search error codes here etc.
"Logon SGNCredProv failed. Log on method: password. Reason: Authentication failed. " - Typical bad password issue? though the user doesnt get to input a password etc. (Also SGNCredProv?) Error ID 2010
Also:
"failed to activate standby certificate on client " Error ID 2099
Something wrong with the Certificate assigned by SG/AD?
Any guidance.... meaning/legend to Error ID codes? especially the last one?
Thanks in Advance.
Dan
