Sophos 5.5.8 server stops logging reports and policies

We have Sophos 5.5.8. From time to time the Safeguard Management console will stop logging reports, stop sending out policies. Basically, it stops communicating with the client. If I reboot the server it will start working again for about a month and stop again. I can't seem to put my finger on this one. Any suggestions?

    welcome to the forum and thank you for posting.

    With regards to your question I would think that you could maybe have a problem with your IIS? However, this is not a known issue so far. Nevertheless I would recommend to upgrade to the latest version as performance and stability has been even further improved compared to your version and it might well be that any eventual bug is resolved then as well.
