Safeguard Disk Encryption

Hello

I have a HP Compaq nc6320

1.83GHz Inetl Centrino T5600 Processor

512MB Ram

80GB hard drive

I am trying to install SafeGuard Disk Encryption 4.60.0.

When I try to install I get the following error message: Error 2022. More than one boot.ini file is found on the hard disk.

The only option I have is to click OK and the program ends with another message: Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

Would anybody be able to help.

    Hi lan04h,

    actually this is something that we have not seen so far. However in this case I would check the hard drive if there is some kind of a second boot.ini on the drive (hidden file!) and if so determine if it can be deleted or not (maybe the Microsoft knowledge base can help you).

    In case that there is no second file please create a install log file (using msiexec /l*vx) and open a new support ticket with these information then.
