Hi all, We are currently deploying SGN Enterprise to our clients. So far, we have no trouble with most of our systems including Dell Latitude Laptops (E5500/5510/5520, E4310 and E6320) and some older models of Lenovo Laptops (T42, R40, R50/51). However, we are not able to install SGN Enterprise on Lenovo T60/T61 series of laptops. We run an installation VB Script that combines the 3 necessary MSI files along with the POACFG.xml file to help streamline the installation process. The VB Script was provided by the Sophos Deployment Engineer and this process has been working for all other type of systems. However, we notice the installation always failed when it was at the point of installing the SGN Client. The process was able to complete the Preinstall portion and we see that Preinstall does show up in 'Add/Remove Program'. When it gets to the SGN Client install, it seems to go through the installation and the installation indicator on screen was going to the right and getting complete. Right where it seems to complete, the installation will start to reverse and goes through an uninstall and the indicator goes back toward the left. The installation windows will eventually goes away but there is no error on screen and no reboot. When we check 'Add/Remove Program', the only thing shows up is 'Sophos SafeGuard Enterprise Preinstall'. We also tried the manual process of running the 3 MSI files but it will again failed to install during the SGN Client installation. Does anyone has any idea why this only happens on Lenovo T60/T61 series laptops? What can we do to fix this issue so we can get SGN Client installed on those systems? Thank you, David
