How to update Safe Guard easy to the latest sub-version ???

:smileymad:

After several (better would be uncounterable) attempts to get information from Sophos directly and via distributor here my questions, hoping somebody can answer:

--- How can I get updates for Safe Guard Easy?

This means, how can I updete a Safe Guard Easy installation to the latest subversion in 5.50.xxx or 5.60.xxx? An enterprise user would have a download access but not an easy user...

--- Can the enterprise version do offline policy updates?

Our Notebooks are NOT connected to the Domain controller and our internal network. They have it own world/network without a DC. Safe Guard easy can create configuration packages, but Safe Guard Enterprise? I need this information just in case that the answer for updates is something like "only available for Enterprise users"...

--- Large HDDs over 2TB would be normally a GPT HDD. When would this be supported?

--- EFI/UEFI Mainboards: When will they be supported? We will buy new notebooks next year. Can I use the latest technology or not?

--- Write protection by user/Passwort: Is there any way in the 5.60 to restrict a user to a read-only access on USB HDDs?

--- Portable USB HDD Encryption (For usage on a customer PCs. without Safe Guard) is this possible and how?

Depending on User/Password read-only or read/write.

--- Windows Server: The Client can not be installed on a server version. Are there any plannings to enable the encryption of a server?

Please do not answer with anwers like "Ask you account manager". As a "Easy" user we do not have this!

If you can't say something worthfull - don't answer...

Thank you - still hoping that the support would be better as like on a freeware/open source encyption...:smileywink:
