SGE - boot Screen

Hi,

i installed SGE on my laptop then i swaped the HDD with another laptop.

Since then the SGE login screen looks like this:

I can still login but i don't see anything.

How do you fix this? When i put the HDD back into the original laptop it display the login screen correctly.

    Are they the same brand/model laptops?

    The reason I ask is that Safeguard creates a "hardware profile" that could be the issue since the drive is from a different machine and may be trying to load an incorrect "basic" driver. I have several different brands and models of laptops in use and can replicate the issue in the same manner.

    Not sure as to a solution to this but at least, I suspect the above is the cause.
