How to decrypt sophos encrypted HD

Hi ,

Could someone give solution for this issue?

My company laptop has sophos encryption.3 weeks back the laptop stopped booting. The hard drive was currupted. company's engineers couldn't recover the data. HD Sent to the company's professional data recovery vendor. They were able to recover the data and send me back on the seperate HD. But they said the data was sophos encrypted and can be decrypt on my company's network only. Can some one explain the process to decrypt the data from recovered HD? I was given the encryption key for the HD when I received company laptop. I have those key with me.

    If the laptop isn't booting, the steps in this KB article may be useful:

    Make sure you get the correct version of the PE image, otherwise it won't be able to read the encrypted HD.  Also, the instructions in the linked PDF file are for an older version, but still valid with some minor changes (screenshots look slightly different, etc...).

    I've used this option many times to recover data from encrypted HDs where the laptop has died, so hopefully it should help you out as well.
