Enterprise Console and Disk Encryption Local Self Help

I'm starting using Sophos Disk Encryption using EC for pushing policies, like other Sophos suite components.

In the PC's encryption properties screen I can read if the disk is encrypted or not, the agent's version number, and so on.

For us is important to know if the user has activated the Local Self Help.

I suggest to the sophos developer to list in the screen the status of LSH for each PC (enabled/disabled, activated/not activated), so my internal support could contact the user for LSH activation.

I hope that this suggestion could be implemented in next EC release.

Anyone agree?

  • Hi MassimoPoletti,

the possibility to query Local Self Help (LSH) activation state is currently not possible - that is correct. I've opened a feature request regarding this in our internal portal and informed product management. If you have a dedicated sales representative, you may want to inform her/him too.

Please mind that I cannot give you any confirmations about if a feature will be implemented and if it will be implemented, in which release it will be available.

    Regards,
