dual boot Win7 / Ubuntu WUBI

I have a corporate laptop running Win7 64bit, and what looks like Sophos 5.50.08 with full HDD encryption plus a preboot authentication. I need access to Linux on this system as well. My question is: will Ubuntu WUBI work with SafeGuard? Has anyone tried this? Can you give me some pointers? WUBI is my preference as it appears to have the least impact on corporate IT - no disk repartition.

I've tried it and it doesn't work, the disk is encrypted so it cannot find the virtual hard drive.
